BACKGROUND

The goal of Data Sieve, was to help accelerate the import, extraction, validation, and migration of complex data within the leasing profession. However, prior to the initial launch, no user research, testing, or AC’s had been established. Therefore, I was tasked with retroactively enforcing proper usability requirements and enhancements to close the gap between various sub-applications the user would interact with.

ROLE

Lead Enterprise UX Designer & Strategist

User Research, Interaction Design, Software Auditor, Prototyping & Testing

Objective

It was my responsibility to address the existing disconnects within the platform, and redesign it from the ground up. Congruently, I was also leading the UI/UX efforts for these new emerging areas in which the tool could be used - many of which had no relevance to the original use case. I conducted research, ran usability testing, and worked hand in hand with Brand to ensure a smooth user interface for what was already built and for what was to come.

The Result

I discovered that there was a huge gap in communication between the Innovation team and core PwC initiatives. Unbeknownst to the developers, another team within PwC had completely rebranded what PwC digital would be. This included new components, patterns, and overall styling. Once I discovered this information, I was able to utilize these new guidelines in my designs to prepare the platform for all future use cases. I developed a new global navigation, created customizable dashboards, and made the data consumption and exportation easier for all users.
